Interschool Athletics - By Justin Kwon (Year 5)

On the 19th of September there was an Interschool Athletics Carnival. The children had an exciting time there. They were good at some events and some students even came 1st. The events at the carnival were as follows: long jump, shot put, turbo javelin, discuss, 800m race, 100m race, 200m race and relay. Some younger students did the 400m race instead of 800m race.
These are people that came 1st in the Inter School Athletics Carnival: 7 years olds were Bora Ozgonul 1st in Relay and Ricky Santos 1st in Relay, in the 8years old events Luke Samuel-Mata - came 1st in Shot Put, Alfred Lenati - came 1st in Relay, 400m race and 200m race and Roland Mooka - 1st in Relay, 9years old Losalini Katia - 1st in shot put and 1st in Discuss, 10years old Ahmed Zreika – 1st in Turbo Javelin, 11 year old Justin Kwon - 1st in 800m race, 12years old Johnny Fiefia – 1st in 800m race. All students did great in their events, they had had fun and participated to the best of their ability. I hope in the future many other students in Auburn Adventist School are able to participate in the events.
